Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-19835)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the admin/column/move.php lang_columnerr4 parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) HTTP response splitting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-19836)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.
In Metinfo 6.1.3, include/interface/applogin.php allows setting arbitrary HTTP headers (including the Cookie header), and common.inc.php allows registering variables from the $_COOKIE value. This issue can, for example, be exploited in conjunction with CVE-2018-19835 to bypass many XSS filters such as the Chrome XSS filter.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-19050)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing the admin/index.php?a=dogetpassword langset parameter.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-19051)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing the admin/index.php?a=dogetpassword abt_type parameter.
