Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the Microsoft RemoteFX Virtual GPU miniport driver. A local unprivileged user can run a specially crafted application on the affected system and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
