Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the module doesn't sufficiently check access when responding to certain filtered collection requests. A remote unauthenticated attacker can bypass security restrictions to access a JSON:API specification-compliant HTTP API and manipulate Drupal content and configuration entities.

Mitigation

Update to version 8.x-1.24.
