Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-0588)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to an error when the Microsoft Exchange PowerShell API grants calendar contributors more view permissions than intended. A remote attacker can gain access to potentially sensitive information.
2) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-0586)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing email messages within Microsoft Exchange server. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted email, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system
