Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of a vulnerable version of a third-party PEAR Archive_Tar library. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary PHP code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of the untrusted phar:// URI. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary PHP code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
