Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when processing filenames in Mercurial repositories. A remote attacker with permission to commit to a Mercurial repository can create a specially crafted filename and inject arbitrary arguments.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
