Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-6405)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists in the coders/dcm.c source code in the ReadDCMImage function due to memory leak. A remote attacker can trick the victim into accessing a file that submits malicious input, trigger memory corruption and cause the service to crash.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
