Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11370)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in "config/pw_snmp.html" file in "System contact" field. A remote authenticated attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


2) Unprotected storage of credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11369)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to other users' credentials.

The vulnerability exists due to application stored credentials in plain text in "/config/pw_changeusers.html" file on the system. A remote authenticated user can view contents of the configuration file and gain access to passwords for 3rd party integration.
