DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to software uses insecure communication channel (e.g. HTTP) to transmit sensitive information, such as application updates. A remote attacker with ability to intercept network traffic can compromise the affected application by supplying malicious files to the system.
