The vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code.

In rw_t2t_handle_tlv_detect_rsp of rw_t2t_ndef.cc, there is a possible out-of-bound write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed.
