Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the "Application::runExternalProgram()" function in "app/application.cpp" allows command injection via shell metacharacters in the torrent name parameter. A remote attacker can inject arbitrary commands via a crafted name within an RSS feed and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
