Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.
1) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10181)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to executable code can be injected in a JAR file without compromising the signature verification. A remote attacker can inject code in a trusted JAR.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10185)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within auto-extraction of a JAR file. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and write arbitrary files on the system.
