1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-1170)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in NTFS implementation when reparse points are created by sandboxed processes allowing sandbox escape. A local user can use a specially crafted application to trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
