Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.

1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15922)

CWE-ID: CWE-476 - NULL Pointer Dereference

CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the Linux kernel before 5.0.9. There is a NULL pointer dereference for a pf data structure if alloc_disk fails in drivers/block/paride/pf.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15923)

CWE-ID: CWE-476 - NULL Pointer Dereference
