Changed bulletin status to patched.
EUVDB-ID: #VU23150
Risk: Medium
CVSSv3.1: 6.9 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H/E:U/RL:U/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17177
CWE-ID:
CWE-401 - Missing release of memory after effective lifetime
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due memory leak in "libfreerdp/codec/region.c" file when a supplied realloc pointer (i.e., the first argument to realloc) is also used for a realloc return value. A remote attacker can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
MitigationInstall update from vendor's website.

CWE-ID:
CWE-401 - Missing release of memory after effective lifetime
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due memory leak in "HuffmanTree_makeFromFrequencies" in "lodepng.c" in LodePNG, as used in WinPR in FreeRDP because a supplied realloc pointer (i.e., the first argument to realloc) is also used for a realloc return value. A remote attacker can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
MitigationInstall update from vendor's website.
