The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due memory leak in "HuffmanTree_makeFromFrequencies" in "lodepng.c" in LodePNG, as used in WinPR in FreeRDP because a supplied realloc pointer (i.e., the first argument to realloc) is also used for a realloc return value.
