Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10473)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper check permissions in functionality that provides a list of applicable credential IDs. A remote authenticated attacker with Overall/Read permission can get a list of valid credentials IDs.
2) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10472)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote authenticated user with Overall/Read permission can send a specially crafted HTTP request to an attacker-specified SSH server and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems, capturing credentials stored in Jenkins.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
3) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10471)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to the form validation method does not require POST requests. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
