This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-4440)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in the Violations plugin.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-4441)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in the CI game plugin.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-4438)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to execute arbitrary code.

Jenkins main before 1.482 and LTS before 1.466.2 allows remote attackers with read access and HTTP access to Jenkins master to insert data and execute arbitrary code.


4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-4439)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted URL that points to Jenkins.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
