Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the Advanced Packages feature of the Gauss100 OLTP database. A remote authenticated attacker with permission to execute advanced packages can send elaborate SQL statements to the database, trigger out-of-bounds read error and cause the database to crash.
