This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.

1) Cross-site request forgery

EUVDB-ID: #VU23668

Risk: Low

CVSSv3.1: 5.3 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]

CVE-ID: CVE-2019-16551

CWE-ID: CWE-352 - Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website, such as connecting to an HTTP URL or SSH server using attacker-specified credentials, or determine whether files with an attacker-specified path exist on the Jenkins master file system.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.

2) Improper access control

EUVDB-ID: #VU23669

Risk: Medium

CVSSv3.1: 4.7 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]

CVE-ID: CVE-2019-16552
