Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to sensitive information on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected software stores password in plaintext. A remote user can use the TMOS Shell (tmsh) utility or the tsig-key configuration stanza in the "/config/bigip.conf" file and view the TSIG key secret in plain text.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
