Description

This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15494)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the "Grafana Module". A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.

2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15493)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected software allows arbitrary file deletion. A remote authenticated attacker with "Backup/Restore" permission can delete any files located at "/opt/openitc/".

3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15492)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in "/dashboards/dynamicDirective?directive=script%3Ealert(1);//". A remote authenticated attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

4) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15491)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.

5) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-15490)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the "command_line" parameter. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

6) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-10227)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the "404-not-found" component. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
