Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-0615)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the Windows Common Log File System (CLFS) driver. A local user can use a specially crafted application to trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-0639)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the Windows Common Log File System (CLFS) driver. A local user can use a specially crafted application to trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-0634)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the Windows Common Log File System (CLFS) driver. A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges.
