Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6069)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the igcore19d.dll JPEG jpegread precision parser. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted JPEG file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6068)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the igcore19d.dll PNG pngread parser. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PNG file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6067)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the igcore19d.dll TIFF tifread parser. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted TIFF file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
4) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6066)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the igcore19d.dll JPEG SOFx parser. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted JPEG file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
5) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6065)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the "bmp_parsing" function of the "igcore19d.dll" library. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted BMP file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
6) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6064)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the "uncompress_scan_line" function of the "igcore19d.dll" library. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PCX file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
7) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-6063)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the "uncompress_scan_line" function of the "igcore19d.dll" library. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PCX file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
