Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9025)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in all parameters of the Start Data Viewer feature of the "/cgi-bin/loaddata.py" script. A remote attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

2) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9024)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected devices have world-writable permissions for the "/root/cleardata.pl "
(executed as root by crond) and "/root/loadperl.sh" (executed as root at
boot time) scripts. A remote attacker can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
3) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9023)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected devices have two users that are not documented and are configured with weak passwords (User bluetooth, password bluetooth; User eclipse, password eclipse). Also, bluetooth is the root password. A remote attacker can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
4) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9020)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the "cgi-bin/timeconfig.py". A remote unauthenticated attacker can execute arbitrary OS commands via shell metacharacters in the NTP Server field on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
