Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-13967)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application is unable to handle multiple request to launch a compile operation. A remote attacker can send multiple request pages/exec.php?exec_env=production&exec_module=itop-hub-connector&exec_page=ajax.php&operation=compile URI and perform a denial of service attack.
2) Exposed dangerous method or function (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11215)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected application.
The vulnerability exists due to usage of potential dangerous method ajax.dataloader. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the application and execute arbitraty code on the server.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires that configuration file is writable by the application.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-13966)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. An XSS payload can be delivered in certain fields (such as icon) of the XML file used to build the dashboard.A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Reflective cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-13965)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
