EUVDB-ID: #VU18412

Risk: Medium

CVSSv4.0: 1.2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]

2) Out-of-bounds read

EUVDB-ID: #VU18413

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 1.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11455

CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when processing parameters passed via HTTP GET or POST requests within the Util_urlDecode() function in util.c. A remote authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the affected application, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory.
