Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on the target  system.

The vulnerability exists due to Windows Tile Object Service improperly handles hard links. A local authenticated user can run a specially crafted application and cause a target system to stop responding.

This vulnerability would allow an attacker to overwrite system files.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
