1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-10681)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can permanently inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

2) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-10682)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The Filemanager in CMS Made Simple 2.2.13 allows remote code execution via a .php.jpegd JPEG file, as demonstrated by m1_files[] to admin/moduleinterface.php. The file should be sent as application/octet-stream and contain PHP code (it need not be a valid JPEG file).
