Security Bulletin

This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.

1) Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data

EUVDB-ID: #VU27520

Risk: Medium

CVSSv3.1: 4.2 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]

CVE-ID: CVE-2020-5886

CWE-ID: CWE-311 - Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the BIG-IP systems setup for connection mirroring in a High Availability (HA) pair transfers sensitive cryptographic objects over an insecure communications channel. A remote attacker can read and modify the Diffie-Hellman (DH) parameters used by data plane SSL/TLS enabled virtual servers.

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
