Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to the application loads DLL libraries in an insecure manner. A local user can place a specially crafted .dll file into a temporary directory on the system and execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.

Note: This vulnerability affects the following EcoStruxure IT Gateway versions:
  • Versions 1.5.x, 1.6.x, 1.7.x

Install updates from vendor's website.
