1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-1299)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can present to the user a removable drive, or remote share, that contains a malicious .LNK file and an associated malicious binar and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
