1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-1396)

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when Windows improperly handles calls to Advanced Local Procedure Call (ALPC). A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
