Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-14718)

The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the JVMCI component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.


2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11080)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when processing HTTP/2 SETTINGS frames. A remote attacker can trigger high CPU load by sending large HTTP/2 SETTINGS frames and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-14583)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Java component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.


4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17560)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the GraalVM Compiler (Apache NetBeans) component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.
