SB2020080810 - Multiple vulnerabilities in JetBrains YouTrack

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Incorrect default permissions (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15821)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions for files and folders that are set by the application. A remote authenticated attacker can create an article draft

2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-15820)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in the markdown parser. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
