The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the prl_hypervisor kext. A local user can pass specially crafted input to the application and gain access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-17390)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the hypervisor kernel extension. A local user can run a specially crafted program to trigger out-of-bounds read condition and gain access to sensitive data in the memory.
