Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources while processing regular expressions. A remote attacker can pass a very long string in String.test and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Cybersecurity Help is currently unaware of any official solution to address this vulnerability.
