Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when a Windows Projected Filesystem improperly handles file redirections. A local user can run a specially crafted application, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.

Install updates from vendor's website.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when a Windows Projected Filesystem improperly handles file redirections. A local user can run a specially crafted application, trigger memory corruption and delete a targeted file they would not have permissions to.
