This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-2267)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected plugin does not perform permission checks in methods implementing form validation. A remote attacker can gain access to some metadata of any arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller.


2) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-2268)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to the form validation methods do not require POST requests. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
