Description

This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-11048)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the way PHP handles long filenames or field names during file upload. A remote attacker can supply an overly long filename to the application that will lead PHP engine to try to allocate oversized memory storage, hit the memory limit and stop processing the request, without cleaning up temporary files created by upload request. This will lead to accumulation of uncleaned temporary files exhausting the disk space on the target server.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-14787)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the User Interface component in Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR). A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-14788)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the User Interface component in Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR). A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17091)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Maps (Mojarra) component in Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.

5) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9484)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in uploaded files names. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted file name to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system but requires that the server is configured to use PersistenceManager with a FileStore and the attacker knows relative file path from storage location.

6) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-2904)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Load Testing for Web Apps (Application Development Framework) component in Oracle Application Testing Suite. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code.
