Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9128)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to an insecure encryption algorithm. A local administrator can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9116)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Improper Privilege Management (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-9114)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.
The vulnerability exists due to improper privilege management. A local user can escalate privileges.
