The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to redirect the browser to a different website.

The vulnerability exists due to improper control of a resource through its lifetime in redirect handling when processing a maliciously crafted link to a jupyter server. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted link to redirect the browser to a different website.

The crafted link may appear to point to a trusted jupyter server but ultimately send the victim to a spoofed server on the public internet.
