Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-25241)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the underlying TCP stack of the affected products does not correctly validate the sequence number for incoming TCP RST packages. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Use of insufficiently random values (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-27632)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the ISN generator is initialized with a constant value and has constant increments. A remote attacker can interfere with traffic, spoof the connection and gain access to sensitive information.
