SB2021031507 - Multiple vulnerabilities in M-System DL8

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20675)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote authenticated attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Improper Access Control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-20676)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote authenticated attacker can do prohibited operation.
