Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the push rules implementation. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Update the affected package matrix-synapse to version 1.33.2-1.
