EUVDB-ID: #VU28245
Risk: Low
CVSSv3.1: 3.5 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:N/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2020-11078
CWE-ID:
CWE-93 - Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection')
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform CRLF injection attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient filtration of user-supplied data. A remote attacker controlling unescaped part of uri for "httplib2.Http.request()" can change request headers and body, send additional hidden requests to same server.
MitigationUpdate the affected package python-httplib2 to the latest version.
Vulnerable software versionsSUSE Linux Enterprise Module for Packagehub Subpackages: 15-SP2 - 15-SP3
SUSE Linux Enterprise Module for Basesystem: 15-SP2 - 15-SP3
python3-httplib2: before 0.19.0-3.3.1
python2-httplib2: before 0.19.0-3.3.1

Risk: Medium
CVSSv3.1: 6.5 [CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H/E:U/RL:O/RC:C]
CVE-ID: CVE-2021-21240
CWE-ID:
CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion
Exploit availability: No
DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion by tricking the application to connect to a malicious server that responds with long series of "xa0" characters in the "www-authenticate" header.
MitigationUpdate the affected package python-httplib2 to the latest version.
