The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.

The vulnerability exists due to improper verification of the user certificate's chain of trust when connecting to SSL-VPN. A remote LDAP user with any certificate that is signed by a trusted Certificate Authority can connect to VPN server.
