Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Access of Uninitialized Pointer (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31503)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error within the parsing of IGS files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted IGS file, trick the victim into opening it, access the uninitialized pointer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
2) Untrusted Pointer Dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31504)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when parsing PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger untrusted pointer dereference and execute arbitrary code on the system.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-31506)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the parsing of PDF files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
