This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2020-35573)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
srs2.c in PostSRSd before 1.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a long timestamp tag in an SRS address.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-35525)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of input when processing certain log data fields from Postfix, such as multiple concatenated email addresses. A remote attacker can force Postfix under certain circumstances pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
