DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a format string error in the wifid daemon when processing SSID name while connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted SSID name that contains format string specifiers and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
