Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-1600)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient restrictions for IPv4 packets that are received on the external management interface. A remote attacker on the local network can access sensitive internal services and make configuration changes on the affected device.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-1601)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient restrictions for IPv6 packets that are received on the external management interface. A remote attacker on the local network can access sensitive internal services and make configuration changes on the affected device.
3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-1617)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in the web-based management interface. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.
4) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-1618)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the web-based management interface. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
